Bruce Usher

Mr. Usher was CEO of EcoSecurities Group plc, which he built into the world’s largest carbon credit company. EcoSecurities developed more than 400 projects in 36 countries, representing approximately 10% of all projects approved by the United Nations under the Kyoto Protocol. Prior to EcoSecurities, Mr. Usher worked in financial services in New York and Tokyo. He is currently co-director of the Social Enterprise Program at Columbia Business School in New York City, where he teaches courses on using financial tools to address social and environmental issues. Mr. Usher is an active investor in entrepreneurial ventures, having invested in 21 companies, including seven clean energy businesses. He is a director of Community Energy, a US solar PV project development company. He earned an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School. Mr. Usher was a director of E+Co until April 2012.
